Holey Miss Holey had just finished their Saturday headlining set at Orange Blossom Jamboree in May when they paraded back out for an encore. An encore like none other in their already storied career.
That is because vocalist Danny Clemmons, the Indiana exponent in an otherwise all-Florida band, emerged with a flowing wig and proceeded to do Rick James proud with one wicked “Give It to Me, Baby.”
So Holey Miss Holey got to thinking, and you can just imagine where that has led:
Holey Miss Moley is excited to bring Bustin’ Out to Dunedin Brewery. DuneBrew is a special place to HMM, and we are proud to be able to bring this high-energy tribute of this funk legend to their awesome venue!
Rick James (1948-2014) was one funky soul man!! His music has been popping vibrations and causing gyrations since 1978. We think 40 years of booty-shakin’ deserves some celebrating!!!
Come on out and show off your inner Super Freak… you know you wanna!
Give it to me!
Give me that stuff… that funk… that sweet…. that funky stuff!!!
Actually, they’re going to do this three times! Thursday, August 3rd, HMM will play DunBrew. The schedule:
Set 1: HMM originals 8 pm – 9:30 pm
Set 2: Bustin’ Out 10 pm – 12 pm
Friday, they will collaborate with Evan Taylor Jones Band at Will’s Pub in Orlando. The schedule:
Set 1: 9:30 pm HMM original set
Set 2: 10:30 pm Evan Taylor Jones Band
Set 3: 12:00 am HMM presents Bustin’ Out
And join HMM Saturday, August 5th, at 1904 Music Hall in Jacksonville with special guests Universal Green.
This amazing band always brings the funk, but these shows will be special.
