II SAW LIVE DOPAPOD EVIL WAS II: New Album and Tour

Dopapod, those jam monsters from [Boston, Northeast, Colorado, you pick], are on the move again. They resumed their spring tour last night in Columbus, heading today (Thursday, March 30th) to Pittsburgh’s Rex Theatre before two weekend shows at Theatre of the Living Arts in Philadelphia. The tour began last weekend with three nights at the Brooklyn Bowl. Read MusicFestNews’ review of the March 24th show here.

The 22 remaining dates see the band in the Northeast, moving on to the Midwest, then as far south as Atlanta for Sweetwater 420 Fest (April 22) before closing out the tour at Soundstage in Baltimore on April 29.

In addition to the tour, the band has a new album release. Dopapod are already industry leaders in releasing every live show through bandcamp, but this one is special. You may recall that the band released I SAW LIVE DOPAPOD EVIL WAS I. It was a collection of great tracks from the road recorded early in 2011. So here comes II SAW LIVE DOPAPOD EVIL WAS II. Of course. These songs were culled from the fall 2016 tour.

Dopapod plays “Progressive Rock and Dance music.” Those in the know already know. If you don’t, do yourself a favor. Get palindrome silly with Dopapod!
