Big Something is already on the road for their winter tour. They will play 25 shows between now and the middle of March, hitting the Northeast, East, Midwest and Colorado. For ten of the shows, they are supporting The Werks, touring on their excellent new album Inside a Dream.
***PLEASE check weather in your area. Friday night’s show (January 22) was cancelled due to the accumulation of white stuff.***
In April, they make their very first appear at the Wanee Music Festival at the Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park. They are also scheduled for the fifth edition of the Mad Tea Party Jam in June (new location in Artemus PA).
And… drumroll, please… The Big What? turns five, too. This year’s fest in Mebane NC will be held July 21-23.
If you’ve not had the pleasure of catching this amazing sextet live, now is your opportunity. These boys are amazing, and they somehow manage to raise their game every time out. Big Something is fronted by Nick MacDaniels on guitar and vocals. Casey Cranford plays alto sax and EWI; he and Jesse Hensley (lead guitar) simply soar on solo after solo. The rhythm section of Doug Marshall on bass and Ben Vinograd on drums is titanic, and Josh Kagel colors everything with his fine keyboard work and adds trumpet as well.
This is a band you do NOT want to miss.
