Consider the Source, the incredible power trio from NYC, accurately describe their genres (plural) as “sci-fi, Middle Eastern, progressive, psychedelic, jamband, funk, fusion.” That’s a good start, in any event.
Star Wars mania being what it is, the CTS boys (Gabriel Marin, guitars; John Ferrara, bass; Jeff Mann, drums and percussion; and John Olsen, lighting design) decided to jump in with both feet:

Their next tour (after the New Year’s Eve blow-out with The Disco Biscuits) begins in February, covering the Northeast, into the South and finally to Texas. Their latest album, World War Trio (Parts II & III), was released in June. It is a superb recording, an true snapshot of a band skyrocketing to the top.
