I constantly search JamBase and the various local venue websites. I saw that the Dunedin Brewery (superb beer, great food, rarely a cover) were hosting a band last Thursday (06.29) from Orlando called Holey Miss Moley. I checked out a couple of YouTube videos (links below), and Linda and I went to see them.
The band members are buddies with Legacy, a very good local looper. Legacy did a few tunes, then HMM did a set, then came back after a break and did several songs with Legacy. It was a great night. Incredible cover of “Ain’t No Use.”
Holey Miss Moley does some covers, but their originals are way better, for me. Check ’em out!
